Dromm Event at Southridge Co-op

The Board of Directors of Southridge Coop Section 3 Inc. and staff would like to extend a warm invitation to the shareholders of Southridge Coop Section 3, Inc. to a very special event.

On Sunday afternoon, February 8, from 2-4 pm, Queens District Leader Daniel Dromm will be speaking to all of us in our Rumpus Room at 33-24 91st Street on the topic of Con Edison and its seemingly never-ending rate increases. Many of you may not be aware that Danny is the son of our long time shareholder and former board member, Audrey Gallagher.

Danny will be joined by Council Member Eric Gioia. Together they will be speaking on the issues concerning the increasing problems with Con Edison. Over the summer, District Leader Dromm launched a campaign to try to get Con Edison to roll back its price increases. Rising electric costs remain as one of the main reasons why Southridge has continually had to resort to maintenance increases. Come find out what we can do to fight the next Con Edison rate increase which is scheduled for April of this year.

If we act as a cohesive unit, we have a better chance to yield results. We look forward to seeing you there.
