Lions Club of Corona to Honor Dromm

District Leader Daniel Dromm is going to be honored with a Corona Community Advocate Award from the Lions Club of Corona on Sunday, March 1, 2009 beginning at 12:30 PM. Dromm is being honored for all his hard work and dedication to the people of North Corona and the surrounding area. This will be the Lions Club's 41st Dinner Dance.

The event will be held at Russo's on the Bay, 162-45 Crossbay Boulevard, Howard Beach, NY. Russo's is perhaps Queens best catering hall located right on the Jamaica Bay with boats outside its glass enclosed terrazzo. The food is excellent! A good time will definitely be had by all.

Queens Borough President Helen Marshall is a Lions club member and will be present at the event. The club's president is Joseph DeGaetano and its Immediate Past President is James C. Lisa (also a Corona based Democratic District Leader).
